Demand-Driven – The NBO program identifies and promotes new products and business opportunities for Moroccan exporters in the industrial sector and helps them adapt to the American business environment in order to successfully respond to market and product demands of the U.S. market. As a result, NBO is a demand-driven program, that focuses on positioning Moroccan products successfully relative to U.S. market demands and opportunities.
U.S. Market-Focused – The Morocco-U.S. FTA is the basis of the NBO Program. NBO’s intimate knowledge and linkage with the U.S. market represents its major competitive advantage relative to other export promotion programs. NBO’s primary focus is to work with Moroccan exporting enterprises to compete for successful placement of goods and services in the U.S. market. Export assistance to Europe or to the Middle East is not part of our responsibility and is handled by other technical assistance programs that focus on these markets.
Transaction-oriented – NBO’s approach is mainly commercial in nature. Its focus is to assist Moroccan enterprises make export sales to the U.S., stimulate domestic investments, attract foreign direct investment, and build sustainable relationships with U.S. partners.
