Three types of exporters in the NBO Program

• NBO Exporters
• A group of 40 NBO Exporters chosen every year by a Monitoring Committee.

 

• Applicants who meet the minimum requirements, but are not yet or may never be chosen according to the established selection criteria.

• Graduate NBO Exporters
  • Exporters who have completed the NBO program .

Three types of NBO services are offered to participating exporters

• NBO Exporters
  • The group of 40 NBO Exporters chosen each year receive NBO's full program of services based on their specific U.S. Export Action Plan (US PAEx).

• Exporters who are not yet chosen
  • Candidates who are not yet chosen may also benefit from general NBO service offerings.

• Graduate Exporters
  • NBO Exporters who have completed the NBO program may benefit from general NBO services and also receive supplementary services specific to their needs during the post-transaction phase.

General NBO services

General services available to all exporters

• Specific technical workshops aimed at improving the exporters' understanding of the American market, buyers, and business environment;
• Information and support on the certification requirements mandated by U.S. authorities;
• Access to links of other local U.S. resources that work to implement the FTA in Morocco (i.e. U.S. Embassy, AmCham, etc.);
• Information distributed through quarterly Newsletters;
• Access to Espace USA.

Services available to NBO Exporters

• Access to all general services offered by NBO;
• Development of a U.S. Export Action Plan (USPAEx) specific to the needs of each exporter;
• Technical assistance support for the implementation of the US PAEx during the year;
• Identification of U.S.-based commercial and logistics agents;
• Coaching to participate at trade shows;
• SIME assistance to establish contacts with potential buyers at trade shows and in the targeted U.S. market, during the course of the year;
• Advice and technical support in preparing presentation offers to U.S. buyers;
• Assistance with the development and implementation of investment plans.

Available services to graduated NBO Exporters

• All the general services offered by NBO;
• Guidance on resources/ recourse for dispute resolution;
• Quarterly visit from NBO to follow up on post-US PAEx activities;
• Participation in the Export Champions Program as role models and success stories for new exporters;
• Special events recognizing outstanding exporters to the U.S.;
• Facilitation of contacts with potential buyers at U.S. trade shows ;
• Assistance with the development and implementation of investment plans.
